brief:
“Design a family of five pictograms for the countries: Bahrain, Jamaica, Madagascar, Iceland and Singapore. Traditions are aspects of a society’s culture that are passed down from generation to generation. They are linked to the history and identity of a people and can be present in different situations, such as customs, behaviors and celebrations. In this work, some commemorative traditions from the five different countries are presented.
Key-words: Bahrain — Eid al-fitr (ramadan; food; feast; islam); Jamaica — Junkanoo (masks; masquerade; instruments); Madagascar — Famadihana (skeleton; dance; dead); Islândia — Þrettándinn (twelfth night; elf; bonfire); Singapura — Vesak (candles; buddhism). ”
